Bonus Pose:  Yoga "Tummy-Tuck"!

For best results, do this yoga move right after drinking your hot lemonade in the morning. This will increase the cleansing benefits of the lemon juice -- and get your entire digestive system moving!

This is called "nauli breath" and it's like getting a yoga tummy-tuck!

Not only does it strengthen and flatten your abdomen, but it also helps you develop more power, persistence, commitment and determination -- along with a tigher tummy!

You see, according to the teachings of yoga, your abdomen is considered your seat of personal power.

You know the saying that some has "fire in the belly"? Fire is the element associated with the belly, as is the color yellow! Strengthening this area helps us develop more willpower and tenacity.

All of us have that hidden jewel within us that just needs to be awakened! Here's how to do it:

1. From either a standing or sitting position, place your hands on your knees. With your mouth open, exhale all of your air, really trying to squeeze out any last bits.

2. Then close your mouth, keep all of your air OUT, and suck your belly button in and up under your ribcage. It's like you're trying to breathe in again, but don't take in any air.

3. Hold your breath out as long as you can, with your belly sucked in, and when you need to breathe, first RELEASE your abdominal contraction by pooching out your belly, then take a breath in through your nose or mouth.

Sound confusing? What will happen is that you'll create a vacuum effect in your abdomen, which causes a massaging and toning action.

You're contracting the transverse abdominis, which is the deepest layer of muscle, and one of the hardest ones to target. When you exercise this muscle, it will work to keep your tummy "ab-solutely"flat. The bonus? You'll heal and prevent back pain as well.

Do five rounds total of this breathing exercise every morning.

After you get the hang of it, you can do an advanced version where you pump your abdomen while holding all your breath out and squeezing your belly in. It's like a targeted tummy-tuck!

When first I started doing this, I lost about 2 inches off my waist in a matter of a fewweeks, -- without doing anything else (except the hot lemonade)!

Try it and tell me how it works for you, okay?
